I have been working as a professional artist for 3 years, creating illustrations for a variety of private clients and companies. In 2017 I produced my first pet portrait, and the response this received prompted me to create my commission-based business. Having studied art and illustration for over 3 years, I was able to develop the highly detailed and realistic portraiture that I now specialise in. I choose to concentrate on working in graphite and colour pencil, both of which allow me to achieve control and accuracy of my materials, whilst maintaining a sense of tradition within the drawings. In addition to these commissioned studies, I am heavily influenced by wildlife and having grown up in Dorset, I enjoy taking reference from local photography where possible.
